Light Pole Foundations

Roman Stone offers a diverse array of pre-cast light pole foundations. We can manufacture round bases, square bases, star pedestals and pyramid shaped bases. While it would be too cumbersome to list every available size we offer, the following is a general list. If you are not sure if we manufacture a certain foundation then please contact us and we will be happy to give you a quote. Round foundations - Standard sizes are 10", 16" 20" 24" 30" diameter ranging in depth up to 11 feet Square bases and other square pedestals - Standard sizes are 12x12, 16x16, 18x18, 20x20, 24x24, 30x30 in heights up to 11 feet. We can make special sized bases per special order. Pyramid Shaped Foundations - Standards are 18" top x 24" bottom, 20" top x 24" bottom, 24" top x 36" bottom, 18" top x 26" bottom Star pedestals and knockout modules. These are foundations that were developed to be used in a wide variety of applications. They are foundations with voids in them which can accept a variety of different sized sweeps. These foundations were designed to provide greater holding power for their weight as the voids tend to hold the compacted backfill over a greater surface area. The beauty of these foundations for the contractor is that they can be oriented any way and the sweeps introduced on the job site in any direction needed. They also have less concrete so they are cheaper than a heavier base with similar holding power.
